The shape of the business

Prudential Scale is small on purpose. The part that cannot be handed off is choosing which markets to enter and which businesses to take, because the whole model rests on only taking work we expect to win. Everything after that is process.

So the roles that will open first are the process ones. Building and verifying listings, checking that each one has actually been crawled rather than just posted, and recording positions every morning so an invoice can be backed by dates rather than by a claim.

What we would look for

• Someone who logs what they did and when, without being asked twice.
• Someone who will say a listing did not get indexed rather than quietly counting it. The whole company is built on numbers a client can check, so a number that is not real is worse to us than a number that is missing.
• Patience with work that is repetitive and genuinely matters.

There are no openings right now

We would rather say that plainly than run a page collecting applications for jobs that do not exist. When there is a role it will be posted here first.
